DNS Load Balancing Report

Report Description
This report details the number of web servers that have their name resolve to multiple IP addresses. Presumably, this is for the purpose of providing redundancy and load balancing.

Of the 54,227,400 sites in the July survey that responded to our DNS lookup queries,2,390,343 (4.4%) had their names resolve to multiple IP addresses. The following graph and table shows how popular the various DNS configurations are that contain multiple IP addresses.
