The following tables illustrates the usage of web authoring tools
on the web. The tool is determined by examining the web page
meta tag 'generator'. Readers are cautioned that not all authoring
packages insert their name in this meta tag, and as such may not
be picked up in this survey.
The February survey is based on a sample size of 12,569,520 pages downloaded from 1,504,928 sites. We detected authoring tool usage on 356,477 sites (23.69% of all sites visited).
