Title: | Huawei EulerOS: Security Advisory for zsh (EulerOS-SA-2018-1209) |
Summary: | The remote host is missing an update for the Huawei EulerOS 'zsh' package(s) announced via the EulerOS-SA-2018-1209 advisory. |
Description: | Summary: The remote host is missing an update for the Huawei EulerOS 'zsh' package(s) announced via the EulerOS-SA-2018-1209 advisory. Vulnerability Insight: A buffer overflow flaw was found in the zsh shell auto-complete functionality. A local, unprivileged user can create a specially crafted directory path which leads to code execution in the context of the user who tries to use auto-complete to traverse the before mentioned path. If the user affected is privileged, this leads to privilege escalation.(CVE-2018-1083) Affected Software/OS: 'zsh' package(s) on Huawei EulerOS V2.0SP3. Solution: Please install the updated package(s). CVSS Score: 7.2 CVSS Vector: AV:L/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C |
