| Description: | Summary: The remote host is missing an update for the 'ruby-carrierwave' package(s) announced via the USN-7497-1 advisory. Vulnerability Insight: Rikita Ishikawa discovered that CarrierWave did not correctly sanitize certain inputs. An attacker could possibly use this issue to execute arbitrary code. This issue only affected Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. (CVE-2021-21305) Norihide Saito discovered that CarrierWave did not correctly sanitize certain inputs. An attacker could possibly use this issue to execute a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack. (CVE-2023-49090) Affected Software/OS: 'ruby-carrierwave' package(s) on Ubuntu 18.04, Ubuntu 20.04, Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 24.04. Solution: Please install the updated package(s).
