Description: | Summary: The remote host is missing an update for the 'systemd' package(s) announced via the USN-5583-2 advisory. Vulnerability Insight: USN-5583-1 fixed vulnerabilities in systemd. Unfortunately this caused a regression by introducing networking problems for some users. This update fixes the problem. We apologize for the inconvenience. Original advisory details: It was discovered that systemd incorrectly handled certain DNS requests, which leads to user-after-free vulnerability. An attacker could possibly use this issue to cause a crash or execute arbitrary code. (CVE-2022-2526) Affected Software/OS: 'systemd' package(s) on Ubuntu 18.04.
