Title: | Mageia: Security Advisory (MGASA-2025-0106) |
Summary: | The remote host is missing an update for the 'mosquitto' package(s) announced via the MGASA-2025-0106 advisory. |
Description: | Summary: The remote host is missing an update for the 'mosquitto' package(s) announced via the MGASA-2025-0106 advisory. Vulnerability Insight: The broker in Eclipse Mosquitto 1.3.2 through 2.x before 2.0.16 has a memory leak that can be abused remotely when a client sends many QoS 2 messages with duplicate message IDs, and fails to respond to PUBREC commands. This occurs because of mishandling of EAGAIN from the libc send function. Affected Software/OS: 'mosquitto' package(s) on Mageia 9. Solution: Please install the updated package(s). CVSS Score: 7.8 CVSS Vector: AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:C |
