Title: | Mageia: Security Advisory (MGASA-2014-0059) |
Summary: | The remote host is missing an update for the 'tor' package(s) announced via the MGASA-2014-0059 advisory. |
Description: | Summary: The remote host is missing an update for the 'tor' package(s) announced via the MGASA-2014-0059 advisory. Vulnerability Insight: Tor before 0.2.4.20, when OpenSSL 1.x is used in conjunction with a certain HardwareAccel setting on Intel Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge platforms, does not properly generate random numbers for relay identity keys and hidden-service identity keys, which might make it easier for remote attackers to bypass cryptographic protection mechanisms via unspecified vectors (CVE-2013-7295). Affected Software/OS: 'tor' package(s) on Mageia 3, Mageia 4. Solution: Please install the updated package(s). CVSS Score: 4.0 CVSS Vector: AV:N/AC:H/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:N |
