Description:	Summary: Ricoh DC Software DL-10 FTP Server is prone to a buffer overflow vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: The flaw is caused by improper bounds checking by the FTP server when processing malicious FTP commands. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via an overly long 'USER' FTP command. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation may allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition. Affected Software/OS: Ricoh DC Software DL-10 version 4.5.0.1. Other products might be affected as well. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore.
