phpMyAdmin is prone to a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability.

Vulnerability Insight:
The flaw is due to improper validation of user-supplied input via
the '$host' variable within the setup, which allows attackers to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in the context
of an affected site.

Vulnerability Impact:
Successful exploitation will allow remote attackers to insert arbitrary HTML
and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in the
context of an affected site.

Affected Software/OS:
phpMyAdmin versions 3.4.x before 3.4.9

Solution:
Upgrade to phpMyAdmin version 3.4.9 or later.
