Vulnerability Insight: This issue is caused by a buffer overflow error in the Microsoft MPEG Layer-3 audio codecs (l3codecx.ax) when processing malformed media files containing an MPEG Layer-3 audio stream. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will let remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into visiting a specially crafted web page.
