Vulnerability Insight: The flaw is due to an error in handling of address bar, which does not properly manage the address bar between the request to open a URL and the retrieval of the new document's content. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will let attackers to conduct spoofing attacks via a crafted HTML document. Affected Software/OS: Apple Safari version 5.0(5.33.16.0) and prior on Windows. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
