Vulnerability Insight: - Vulnerability in the 'home.asp' script that fails to adequately secure access to administrative scripts. - Multiple SQL injection flaws in login.asp, which can be caused via the 'txtUsername' parameter and 'txtPassword' parameter in a form generated by home.asp. Vulnerability Impact: Attackers can exploit this issue to view, add, modify or delete information in the back-end database or bypass security restrictions. Affected Software/OS: NatterChat version 1.1 on Windows. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
