Description:	Summary: Internet Explorer is prone to a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This VT has been deprecated and replaced by the VT with the OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.25623.1.0.901097. Vulnerability Insight: The XSS Filter used in 'response-changing mechanism' to conduct XSS attacks against web sites that have no inherent XSS vulnerabilities, related to the details of output encoding. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will allow attackers to conduct cross-site scripting attacks on the affected system. Affected Software/OS: Microsoft Internet Explorer version 8. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore.
