Konqueror is prone to a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability.

Vulnerability Insight:
These flaws are due to:

- improper handling of JavaScript document.load Function calls targeting
the current document which can cause denial of service.

- HTML parser in KDE Konqueror causes denial of service via a long attribute
in HR element or a long BGCOLOR or BORDERCOLOR.

Vulnerability Impact:
Successful exploitation will allow attacker to trigger the use of a deleted
object within the HTMLTokenizer::scriptHandler() method and can cause a crash.

Affected Software/OS:
Konqueror in KDE version 3.5.9 or prior.

Solution:
No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure
of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release,
disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
