Title: | Debian: Security Advisory (DLA-2229-1) |
Summary: | The remote host is missing an update for the Debian 'php-horde-gollem' package(s) announced via the DLA-2229-1 advisory. |
Description: | Summary: The remote host is missing an update for the Debian 'php-horde-gollem' package(s) announced via the DLA-2229-1 advisory. Vulnerability Insight: Gollem, as used in Horde Groupware Webmail Edition and other products, had been affected by a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability via the HTTP GET dir parameter in the browser functionality, affecting breadcrumb output. An attacker could have obtained access to a victim's webmail account by making them visit a malicious URL. For Debian 8 Jessie, this problem has been fixed in version 3.0.3-2+deb8u1. We recommend that you upgrade your php-horde-gollem packages. Further information about Debian LTS security advisories, how to apply these updates to your system and frequently asked questions can be found at: [link moved to references] Affected Software/OS: 'php-horde-gollem' package(s) on Debian 8.
