Summary: | The remote host is missing an update for the Debian 'moin' package(s) announced via the DLA-1546-1 advisory. |
Description: | Summary: The remote host is missing an update for the Debian 'moin' package(s) announced via the DLA-1546-1 advisory. Vulnerability Insight: Nitin Venkatesh discovered a cross-site scripting vulnerability in moin, a Python clone of WikiWiki. A remote attacker can conduct cross-site scripting attacks via the GUI editor's link dialogue. This only affects installations which have set up fckeditor (not enabled by default). For Debian 8 Jessie, this problem has been fixed in version 1.9.8-1+deb8u2. We recommend that you upgrade your moin packages. Further information about Debian LTS security advisories, how to apply these updates to your system and frequently asked questions can be found at: [link moved to references] Affected Software/OS: 'moin' package(s) on Debian 8.
