Vulnerability Insight: Ryan Hall discovered that DPDK incorrectly handled vhost crypto. An attacker inside a guest could use these issues to perform multiple attacks, including denial of service attacks, obtaining sensitive information from the host, and possibly executing arbitrary code on the host.
