Title: | Request Tracker Multiple Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities |
Summary: | Request Tracker is prone to multiple cross site scripting vulnerabilities. |
Description: | Summary: Request Tracker is prone to multiple cross site scripting vulnerabilities. Vulnerability Insight: Multiple flaws are due to: - An insufficient validation of public key parameter in the cryptography interface. - An insufficient sanitization of vectors related to the (1) user and (2) group rights management pages. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may let the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks. Affected Software/OS: Request Tracker 4.x before 4.2.12. Solution: Upgrade to Request Tracker version 4.2.12, or later. CVSS Score: 4.3 CVSS Vector: AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N |
