a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability.

Vulnerability Insight:
The JMX servlet allows remote authenticated users to cause a
denial of service and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted serialized Java object.

Vulnerability Impact:
Successful exploitation will allow remote authenticated users to
cause a denial of service and possibly execute arbitrary code.

Affected Software/OS:
Red Hat JBoss EAP version 4 and 5.

Solution:
No known solution was made available for at least one year
since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution
options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or
replace the product by another one.
