Description: | Summary: Apache Ambari is prone to information disclosure and open redirection vulnerabilities. Vulnerability Insight: Multiple flaws exist due to: - Weak permissions used for the '/var/lib/ambari-agent/data' and '/var/lib/ambari-agent/keys' directories by the agent. - An insufficient validation of user supplied input via 'targetURI' parameter in redirect and forward requests. Vulnerability Impact: Success exploitation will allow local users to obtain sensitive information by reading files in the directories and to redirect users to arbitrary web sites and conduct phishing attacks. Affected Software/OS: Apache Ambari version 1.7 through 2.1.1. Solution: Update to version 2.1.2 or later. CVSS Score: 5.8 CVSS Vector: AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:N |
