Description: | Summary: IBM WebSphere Application Server is prone to a CRLF injection vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: The flaw is due to an HTTP response splitting attack vulnerability. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will allow a remote attacker to use specially-crafted URL to cause the server to return a split response, once the URL is clicked. This would allow the attacker to perform further attacks, such as Web cache poisoning, cross-site scripting, and possibly obtain sensitive information. Affected Software/OS: IBM WebSphere Application Server version 6.1.x through 6.1.0.47, 7.0.x prior to 7.0.0.39, 8.0.x prior to 8.0.0.12 and 8.5.x prior to 8.5.5.8.
