Description: | Summary: Netgear N300 wireless router is prone to an authentication bypass vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: The flaw is due to the file BRS_netgear_success.html allows the user to access the router without credentials while checking access to Internet. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will allow remote attacker to gain access to the administration interface of the router and manipulate the device's settings. Affected Software/OS: NetGear N300 wireless router firmware version 1.1.0.24 - 1.1.0.31 Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
