Description:	Summary: WordPress Spider Event Calendar is prone to an SQL injection (SQLi) vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: Flaw is due to the wp-admin/admin-ajax.php script not properly sanitizing user-supplied input to the 'cat_id' parameter. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will allow remote attackers to inject or manipulate SQL queries in the back-end database, allowing for the manipulation or disclosure of arbitrary data. Affected Software/OS: WordPress Spider Event Calendar Plugin 1.4.9 Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
