Description:	Summary: Category Grid View Gallery plugin is prone to a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: The flaw is caused due to an input validation error in the 'ID' parameter in '/wp-content/plugins/category-grid-view-gallery/includes/CatGridPost.php' when processing user-supplied data. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will allow attacker to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in the context of an affected site. Affected Software/OS: WordPress Category Grid View Gallery Plugin version 2.3.1 and prior Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
