The flaw is due to an input validation error when downloading
directories containing files with directory traversal specifiers in the
filename. This can be exploited to download files to an arbitrary location
on a user's system.
Successful exploitation will allow attacker to download or
upload arbitrary files. This may aid in further attacks.
FTP Voyager 184.108.40.206 and prior.
No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure
of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer
release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
