Mozilla Firefox browser is prone to a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability.

Vulnerability Insight:
The flaw is due to improper handling of 'JavaScript' code which
contains an infinite loop, that creates IFRAME elements for invalid news://
or nntp:// URIs.

Vulnerability Impact:
Successful exploitation will allow remote attackers to cause a
denial of service.

Affected Software/OS:
Firefox version 3.0.x prior to 3.0.19, 3.5.x prior to 3.5.9,
3.6.x prior to 3.6.3

Solution:
No known solution was made available for at least one year
since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore.
General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective
features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
