Xerver HTTP Server is prone to a cross-site scripting (XSS)
vulnerability.

Vulnerability Insight:
The flaw is due to improper sanitization of user supplied input
passed via 'currentPath' parameter (when 'action' is set to 'chooseDirectory') to the
administrative interface.

Vulnerability Impact:
Successful exploitation will allow attackers to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

Affected Software/OS:
Xerver version 4.32 and prior on all platforms.

Solution:
No known solution was made available for at least one year
since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General
solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the
product or replace the product by another one.
