Apple Safari is prone to a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability.

Vulnerability Insight:
The flaw is due to an error in 'JavaScriptCore.dll' when
processing HTML document composed of many successive occurrences of the '' substring.

Vulnerability Impact:
Successful exploitation allows remote attacker to crash the
affected browser.

Affected Software/OS:
Apple Safari 4.0.5 on Windows.

Solution:
No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure
of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer
release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
