Description: | Summary: The remote web server running Exhibit Engine, a PHP based photo gallery management system which is affected by a remote file include issue. Vulnerability Insight: The version of Exhibit Engine installed on the remote host fails to sanitize input to the 'toroot' parameter before using it in the 'styles.php' script to include PHP code. Vulnerability Impact: Provided PHP's 'register_globals' setting is enabled, an unauthenticated attacker can exploit this issue to view arbitrary files and execute arbitrary code, possibly taken from third-party hosts, on the remote host. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
