Vulnerability Insight: Improper handling of user supplied input into the pmscript.php file via ..(dot dot) in 'with' parameter, can lead to directory traversal. Vulnerability Impact: Successful attacks can cause inclusion or execution of arbitrary local files in the context of the webserver process via directory traversal attacks and URL-encoded NULL-bytes. Affected Software/OS: Flatchat version 3.0 and prior. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
