Test ID: | 1.3.6.1.4.1.25623.1.0.59757 |
Category: | Fedora Local Security Checks |
Title: | Fedora Core 7 FEDORA-2007-1154 (clamav) |
Summary: | NOSUMMARY |
Description: | Description: The remote host is missing an update to clamav announced via advisory FEDORA-2007-1154. Clam AntiVirus is an anti-virus toolkit for UNIX. The main purpose of this software is the integration with mail servers (attachment scanning). The package provides a flexible and scalable multi-threaded daemon, a command line scanner, and a tool for automatic updating via Internet. The programs are based on a shared library distributed with the Clam AntiVirus package, which you can use with your own software. The virus database is based on the virus database from OpenAntiVirus, but contains additional signatures (including signatures for popular polymorphic viruses, too) and is KEPT UP TO DATE. Update Information: Can't reach the maintainer, so pushing this myself, given it's a security related update. ChangeLog: * Thu May 31 2007 Enrico Scholz - 0.90.3-1 - updated to 0.90.3 - BR tcpd.h instead of tcp_wrappers(-devel) to make it build both in FC6- and F7+ References: [ 1 ] Bug #240395 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=240395 [ 2 ] CVE-2007-2650 http://www.cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2007-2650 Solution: Apply the appropriate updates.
