Title: | Trustix Security Advisory TSLSA-2002-0056 (apache) |
Summary: | NOSUMMARY |
Description: | Description: The remote host is missing updates announced in advisory TSLSA-2002-0056. From the original Apache advisory: Versions of the Apache web server up to and including 1.3.24 and 2.0 up to and including 2.0.36 contain a bug in the routines which deal with invalid requests which are encoded using chunked encoding. This bug can be triggered remotely by sending a carefully crafted invalid request. On TSL, this can be used in a denial of service attack but is not belived to be exploitable in any other manner. Solution: Update your system with the packages as indicated in the referenced security advisory. http://www.securityspace.com/smysecure/catid.html?in=TSLSA-2002-0056 Risk factor : High |
