Description: | Description: The remote host is missing updates announced in advisory CLA-2001:419. Fetchmail is a program used to retrieve email from POP and IMAP servers. Salvatore Sanfilippo did an audit and found a remote vulnerability in fetchmail that allows a remote attacker to write arbitrary data into memory. To take advantage of this problem, an attacker has to have control over the mail server being queried by the fetchmail process.
