Description:	Description: The remote host is missing updates announced in advisory CLA-2001:419. Fetchmail is a program used to retrieve email from POP and IMAP servers. Salvatore Sanfilippo did an audit and found a remote vulnerability in fetchmail that allows a remote attacker to write arbitrary data into memory. To take advantage of this problem, an attacker has to have control over the mail server being queried by the fetchmail process. Solution: The apt tool can be used to perform RPM package upgrades by running 'apt-get update' followed by 'apt-get upgrade' http://www.securityspace.com/smysecure/catid.html?in=CLA-2001:419 http://distro.conectiva.com.br/atualizacoes/index.php?id=a&anuncio=002001 Risk factor : High
