Description:	Description: The remote host is missing updates announced in advisory CLA-2004:879. The Linux kernel is responsible for handling the basic functions of the GNU/Linux operating system. This announcement fixes a vulnerability in the Linux kernel which could allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information due to an issue when handling 64-bit file offset pointers. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to read portions of the kernel's memory.
