Title: | Mandrake Security Advisory MDKSA-2002:017 (php) |
Summary: | NOSUMMARY |
Description: | Description: The remote host is missing an update to php announced via advisory MDKSA-2002:017. Several flaws exist in various versions of PHP in the way it handles multipart/form-data POST requests, which are used for file uploads. The php_mime_split() function could be used by an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the server. This affects both PHP4 and PHP3. The authors have fixed this in PHP 4.1.2 and provided patches for older versions of PHP. Affected versions: 7.1, 7.2, 8.0, 8.1, Corporate Server 1.0.1, Single Network Firewall 7.2 Solution: To upgrade automatically use MandrakeUpdate or urpmi. The verification of md5 checksums and GPG signatures is performed automatically for you. http://www.securityspace.com/smysecure/catid.html?in=MDKSA-2002:017 http://security.e-matters.de/advisories/012002.html Risk factor : High |
