MongoDB is prone to a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability.

Vulnerability Insight:
An attacker with basic CRUD permissions on a replicated
collection can run the applyOps command with specially malformed oplog entries, resulting in a
potential denial of service on secondaries.

Affected Software/OS:
MongoDB versions 4.0.x through 4.0.24, 4.2.x through 4.2.13
and 4.4.x through 4.4.5.

Solution:
Update to version 4.0.25, 4.2.14, 4.4.6 or later.
