Description:	Summary: The ilServer Java component of ILIAS is using a version of the Apache Log4j library which is prone to a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: The following flaw exists in the Log4j library used by the ilServer component: Apache Log4j2 is vulnerable to a remote code execution (RCE) attack when a configuration uses a JDBC Appender with a JNDI LDAP data source URI when an attacker has control of the target LDAP server. Affected Software/OS: The ilServer Java component in ILIAS versions 5.4.26 and prior, 6.x through 6.16 and 7.x through to 7.7. Solution: Update to ILIAS version 6.17, 7.8 or later.
