Description:	Summary: CMS Made Simple is prone to multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. Vulnerability Insight: The following vulnerabilities exist: - CVE-2017-7255: XSS in the 'Content-->News-->Add Article' feature via the m1_title parameter. - CVE-2017-7256: XSS in the 'Content-->News-->Add Article' feature via the m1_summary parameter. - CVE-2017-7257: XSS in the 'Content-->News-->Add Article' feature via the m1_content parameter. - CVE-2017-9668: In admin\addgroup.php when adding a user group, there is no XSS filtering, resulting in storage-type XSS generation, via the description parameter in an addgroup action. Affected Software/OS: CMS Made Simple version 2.1.6. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
