Vulnerability Insight: The vulnerability is due to insufficient sanitization of HTTP user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending an HTTP POST with crafted deserialized user data. Vulnerability Impact: An exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code with root-level privileges on the affected system, which could be used to conduct further attacks. Affected Software/OS: Cisco Prime Infrastructure prior to version 3.0.2 / 2.2.3 Update 4. Solution: Update to version 3.0.2 / 2.2.3 Update 4 or later.
