Description:	Summary: ZTE ZXV10 W300 wireless router is prone to a security-bypass vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: The TELNET service on the ZTE ZXV10 W300 router 2.1.0 has a hardcoded password ending with airocon for the admin account, which allows remote attackers to obtain administrative access by leveraging knowledge of the MAC address characters present at the beginning of the password. Vulnerability Impact: Attackers can exploit this issue to bypass the authentication mechanism and gain access to the vulnerable device. Affected Software/OS: ZTE ZXV10 W300 running firmware version 2.1.0 is vulnerable. Other versions may also be affected. Update 2015-08-28: At least the following models are also affected: Asus: DSL N12E Digicom: DG-5524T Observa :RTA01N PLDT: SpeedSurf 504AN ZTE: ZXV10 W300 Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
