Description: | Summary: VICIdial is prone to a command-injection vulnerability because the application fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. Vulnerability Insight: In multiple locations, there are calls to passthru() that do not perform any filtering or sanitization on the input. Vulnerability Impact: An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary commands in the context of the affected application. Affected Software/OS: VICIdial 2.7RC1, 2.7 and 2.8-403a are vulnerable. Other versions may also be affected. Solution: Ask the Vendor for an update.
