Description: | Summary: pfile is prone to a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability and an SQL injection (SQLi) vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. Vulnerability Impact: Exploiting these issues could allow an attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials, compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database. Affected Software/OS: pfile version 1.02 and probably prior. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
