Description: | Summary: Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 and SharePoint Services 3.0 are prone to a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability because they fail to properly sanitize user-supplied input. Vulnerability Impact: An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and to launch other attacks. Solution: The vendor has released an advisory and updates.
