Description: | Summary: OTRS is prone to an HTML-injection vulnerability. This VT has been deprecated and replaced by the VT with the OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.25623.1.0.902352. Vulnerability Insight: An error exists in application which fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input before using it in dynamically generated content. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploits will allow attacker-supplied HTML and script code to run in the context of the affected browser, potentially allowing the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials or to control how the site is rendered to the user. Other attacks are also possible. Affected Software/OS: Versions prior to OTRS 2.4.9 are vulnerable. Solution: Upgrade to higher OTRS version or Apply patch from the vendor advisory link.
