Description: | Summary: SurgeFTP is prone to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities because the application fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data. Vulnerability Impact: Attacker-supplied HTML or JavaScript code could run in an administrator's browser session in the context of the affected site. This could potentially allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials. Other attacks are also possible. Affected Software/OS: SurgeFTP 2.3a6 is vulnerable. Other versions may also be affected. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
