Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will allow an attacker cause a targeted Lync for Mac 2011 user's system to browse to an attacker-specified website or automatically download file types on the operating system's safe file type list. Affected Software/OS: Microsoft Lync for Mac 2011. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
