Description: | Summary: The remote host is missing an update for the 'kernel, kernel-firmware-nonfree, kernel-userspace-headers, kmod-broadcom-wl, kmod-fglrx, kmod-nvidia304, kmod-nvidia340, kmod-nvidia-current, kmod-vboxadditions, kmod-virtualbox, kmod-xtables-addons' package(s) announced via the MGASA-2015-0435 advisory. Vulnerability Insight: This kernel update is based on the upstream 4.1.12 longterm kernel and fixes at least the following security issue: Moein Ghasemzadeh discovered that the USB WhiteHEAT serial driver contained hardcoded attributes about the USB devices. An attacker could construct a fake WhiteHEAT USB device that, when inserted, causes a denial of service (system crash) (CVE-2015-5257). It also fixes various upstream bugs, for more info see the referenced changelogs.
