Vulnerability Insight:
PHP mishandles property modification during __wakeup processing,
which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other
impact via crafted serialized data, as demonstrated by Exception::__toString with
DateInterval::__wakeup.

Affected Software/OS:
PHP versions through 5.6.27 and 7.0.x through 7.0.12.

Solution:
No known solution was made available for at least one year
since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution
options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or
replace the product by another one.
