Description: | Summary: Junos OS is prone to a mbuf leak vulnerability. Vulnerability Insight: A Junos device with VPLS routing-instances configured on one or more interfaces may be susceptible to an mbuf leak when source and destination MAC addresses of Ethernet frames with the EtherType field of IPv6 are flooded into the VPLS instance. The Ethernet frames must be injected directly into a connected interface, limiting exposure to directly connected adjacent networks. Vulnerability Impact: An attacker may cause denial of service condition. Affected Software/OS: Junos OS 13.3 and 14.1 Solution: New builds of Junos OS software are available from Juniper.
