Description: | Summary: TFTPDWIN server is prone to a remote buffer-overflow vulnerability because the application fails to properly bounds-check user-supplied input before copying it to an insufficiently sized memory buffer. Vulnerability Impact: An attacker may exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code in the context of the TFTP server process. Affected Software/OS: TFTPDWIN 0.4.2 is vulnerable. Other versions may be affected as well. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
